What is included in my pregnancy, labour and birth Doula package?
1 complimentary meet and greet interview
3 Visits in your Home (3-4 hours each) for us to get to know each other and for me to share my knowledge with you both providing emotional, physical, practical, spiritual and informational support. This includes hands on tools for labour and birth support
Birth Plan preparation
Postpartum Support plan
1 or 2 visits with your antenatal healthcare provider
On-call 24 hours a day from 2 weeks prior to your due date
Daily text support
Sharing valuable resources with you
1 full-body pregnancy massage
Present at your entire labour and birth no matter how long the baby takes to arrive
2 postpartum visits to ensure an easy transition for you and your family and make sure you are feeling confident. This includes lactation support
Additional postpartum support can be arranged for at $60/hr. This may include birth debriefing, helping take care of your new baby, meal preparation, taking care of siblings, light housework, overnight care, running errands, attending appointments with you etc
What does my postpartum Doula package include:

1 Postpartum practical preparation session
Six 3-hour Postpartum support visits (in-home or support with outings, errands and appointments)
Birth de-briefing
Supporting you in gaining confidence with breastfeeding/Lactation support
Help you in understanding your baby’s feeding needs and cues
Help you in understanding your baby’s sleep needs
Help you in understanding your baby’s sensory needs and how this can affect their sleep
Baby massage techniques for you to use to help soothe and settle your baby
Being with your baby, whilst you shower/rest/sleep
Helping older siblings adjust to their new life with a baby
Daily text support.
Closing of the bones ceremony
Support with resources and allied health professionals
Additional support at $60/hr

I have different service packages to meet your desired needs and wants and each of these are customisable to you and your family’s needs: additional services such as massage, and others can be included at each visit for an arranged price.
The journey to Motherhood is a life-altering event, and the transition cannot be undermined.
By saying this, I’m not just talking about the method of delivery of your baby, or your birth experience, although that is a big part of it…what I also want you to remember is that when a Baby is Born, so are born as a Mother and father to each new little person. You both experience a birth into your new roles and a shift of identity, no matter how many children you have or are planning on having.
I endeavour to bring peace and calm to your pregnancy, labour, birth and postpartum period whilst holding space and the utmost respect for you, your partner and family during this journey.
Additionally as your Doula, I will help give your partner the confidence to support you because he/she will feel equally supported and guided.

Women who book with me as their birth Doula for a birth centre, Hospital or home Birth Service have the first 2 postnatal visits included in the birth package. If you hire me for postpartum care and live more than 20km from Wellington Point there will be an additional charge of $15 a visit for travel expenses.
